LEAD 2014

LEAD 2014 is an exciting programme run by Youth Sport Trust in partnership with sportscotland and Glasgow 2014. LEAD 2014 invites every Secondary School in Scotland to select pupils to attend a free Conference Day. The conference day is aimed at young people aged 14 and sees University students lead workshops on event management with the overall aim of inspiring the young pupils to deliver Commonwealth Games themed sports festivals to their fellow school pupils. “Lead 2014 represents a fantastic opportunity to ensure that, through sport and the exciting opportunity of Glasgow 2014, young people can learn and develop skills which are vital throughout life such as teamwork, financial management and communication.” (Steve Grainger, Chief Executive of the Youth Sport Trust).
